Blow Up Your Views

Rails views have, more or less, stayed exactly the same since 2005. The only thing we’ve changed is the file extension (formerly .rhtml, now .erb). I believe simplifying and improving the view layer is one of the next areas of emphasis for the community.

This past summer I gave a talk entitled “Blow Up Your Views” at several regional Rails conferences including Madison Ruby, Frozen Rails, and NYC.rb / GoRuCo.
