Requirements to Participate

There are very few requirements to participate in a JumpstartLab course:

• Age
  • If you’re over 18, you’re good
  • If you’re under 18, I’d feel most comfortable if you are partnered with an adult attendee. If that’s not possible, it’s probably still ok but I’d like to talk to you and a parent/guardian first.
• Technology
  • One laptop per attendee. Mac OS X is ideal, but Windows and Linux are OK too. I also have three loaner machines which can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Language
  • While it would be amazing to branch out, for the time being attendees to all workshops need to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Accessibility
  • The Jumpstart Lab office is accessible to all persons.
  • If you would like any special accommodations, just shoot an email and we’ll do the best we can.
